THE COMMUNITY GARDEN IS GROWING!! Glenn Franklin tilled and spread compost. Mary Ann Harper and Lavon Post spread weed block cloth and planted tomatoes, various pepper plants, purple hull peas, okra, lima beans, speckled beans, and eggplant, with some help from her granddaughter, Kori, and kids from the Summer Food Rocks! program. Plants and other items were donated by Hot Spring County Farmers Co-op. If you are interested in becoming involved, please call 501-337-5000, or 501-332-0210.
