Haley Heidemann, Open House: Join us to celebrate the artwork and vision of Haley Heidemann. Through her artistic works, collaborations, and tireless organization and promotion, Haley has made invaluable contributions to the Oberlin community. Examples include: participation in the annual Oberlin Chalk Walk; installing mosaic and mobile works at the Oberlin Public Library; founding and curating art shows and musical performances at 3 Doors Studios, a local artist collective; and distributing small artistic works throughout town for the public's discovery and enjoyment as part of a "Free Art" initiative. Haley's passion and her contributions as an Artist-Organizer, "pivotal artists who, through the act of organizing participation based projects, find ways to readdress and refresh the framework through which we experience artistic expression and build community," are deserving of acknowledgement and commendation. Please join us in the Community Room of the Oberlin Public Library on Thursday, September 25, from 5:00 to 6:30pm, where Haley will be available to discuss her artwork and artistic vision. Light refreshments will be served. Calendar
