The exhibits are free and open to the public. | | HOW TO MANAGE YOUR UNION PUBLIC LIBRARY ACCOUNT Placing “Holds” and “Renewals” Click Enter your 14-digit Library Card number & your PIN. The “PIN” will be the last 4 digits of your phone number. You will have the opportunity to change your PIN after logging on. Click The “Patron Information” screen will appear. The “Patron Information Screen” will provide: your name, patron ID, address, phone number, email address, patron card expiration date, and links for changing either your PIN or your email address. Some materials are not renewable. You may RENEW renewable items by scrolling to the bottom of the page where you will see: RENEW CHECKED ITEMS To place a book on HOLD, go to the library catalog. Enter a book title in the “title field”. Bring up the catalog page of that book. If it is “checked-out”, place a checkmark in the circle beside the item(s) that you wish to place on HOLD. Then, click the PLACE HOLD REQUEST button. A template will appear that asks you to enter your patron ID (14-digit library card number), your PIN and the library branch where you want to pick-up item. After entering the required information, click SUBMIT REQUEST. The HOLD will register on your “Patron Information” page.Note: You may not place "Holds" on media, such as videos and DVDs. | | Bicentennial Bags Vauxhall Branch Library is selling Bicentennial Bags, the cost is $5.00 a bag. The Main Library has sold out. | | DELIVERY SERVICES TO HOME-BOUND UNION RESIDENTS Do you know someone who is unable to visit the library due to a physical disability or other health-related condition? The library is developing a service to aid residents who love books and reading but are unable to get to the library on their own.
