The Vernon Parish Library Board met in regular session Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 3:30 p.m.

Members present were Mrs. Westerchil, Mrs. Bealer, Mr, Kuk, Mr. Jones, Mr. Martin and Mr. Davis. Absent was Mrs. McKee.

Mrs. Westershil welcomed the new board members, Mr. Jones and Mr. Kuk.

Mrs. Westerchil opened the meeting by calling on Mr. Kuk to lead in opening prayer.

Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as sent out.

Mr. Coy presented the Statistical, Financial and Director’s reports.

Mr. Martin made the motion, seconded by Mr. Jones to proceed with new shelving and circulation desk at the Pitkin Branch. Carried.

Mrs. Bealer made the motion, seconded by Mr. Kuk to approved the revised Sexual Harassment Policy. Carried.

Mr. Kuk made the motion to purchase a pickup that would perform as needed by the Library. Seconded by Mr. Martin. Carried.

Mrs. Bealer made the motion, seconded by Mr. Jones to make an exception to the Meeting Room Policy to allow the Vernon Parish DARE program to use the meeting room to Mondays beginning Feb. 2022 through May 2022. Carried.

There being no other business, meeting was adjourned.
