Tot - Time: Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
This is a special activity aimed at children 18 months of age and up to 3 years old, and a care-giver. During the program, children and adults can participate in a variety of guided songs, games, special activites, stories, & crafts that have been planned to allow fun and educational together time. The program is also designed to equip care-givers with a variety of activities, stories, etc. that can be shared with the children outside the library environment.
Story Hour: Wednesdays at 10:30 and 1:00 p.m.
This weekly event is designed for pre-school aged children that have the ability to follow basic instructions and play/work on their own, with simple assistance provided by library children's services staff (the program also helps them to improve these skills and abilities as their time in the program increases). The program includes stories, songs, finger plays, crafts, and other educational activities planned around specific weekly themes. Story Hour gives children an opportunity to interact with other children their own age, in a safe, fun, educational environment.
Crafternoon - Wednesdays at 5:30 - Theme based weekly program designed to engage early readers in crafts, stories, games, and group interaction revolving around literacy, learning and information.
