Library Board Meeting
Everyone is welcome to attend this meeting: the agenda is as follows:
Sept 16th, 2026 at 7:00 P.M.
Library 505 Thomas St. Callender Iowa, 50523
Public notice is hereby given that the above mentioned body will meet at the date, time, and place setout. The agenda for the meeting and public hearing is as follows:
1. Call to order - open meeting and roll call.
2. Agenda approval - approve agenda.
3. Minutes approved - approve min. last meeting.
4. Financial report - expenses/bills for approval.
5. Public comment. - guest/business from floor.
6. Correspondence
7. Unfinished/new business - We will have another plant swap on Oct. 17th. Put the airconditioner on hold the one seems to be cooling the room. Linda has been helping with program ideas. Quilting/sewing will begin every week. We will now be able to post on facebook.
8. Traning for Board - will discuss chpt. 5 and read chpt. 6 for Oct.
9. Director/staff report - The quilting/sewing went well. Coffee is going well with some new residents attending. Recieved a donation of a reading machine for people with very poor eyesight. All going well.
