Library Hours

The Fort Dodge Public Library will be closed the morning of Wednesday May 22, 2013 while staff attend a mandatory city meeting.
The library will also close a half hour early this day.

The library will be open 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
(Computers will shut down at 4:30)

Summer Storytime Registration

Registration for Summer Preschool Storytime
at the Fort Dodge Public Library will
begin on Thursday May, 30th

Children who are 3, 4, 5 or 6 years of age and have not yet
attended kindergarten are eligible for registration.

Storytimes will be held:
Wednesday 10:00 to 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday 11:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Thursday 10:00 to 10:30 a.m.
Thursday 11:00 to 11:30 a.m.

There is no fee for this program that offers for
many children their first classroom experience without a parent.

Registration is taken on a first come, first serve basis
until all classes are full.

Parents may call or stop by the Children's Department of the
library to register their child. The Children's Department phone number is 573-8167 ext 242
