Interlibrary Loan Policy and Request Forms
Our library staff will be happy to assist you in obtaining materials from other libraries as necessary. The NPCC Library can borrow books or request articles for you that are not available from the NPCC or Garland County Library. This service is provided only to NPCC students, faculty, and staff. Your user account at the library must be in good standing in order to place an interlibrary loan request.

There is no charge for this service. However, we do ask that you limit your requests to 2 items at a time. If any additional charge is made by the lending library, you will be notified for approval before the request is placed. The borrower will be responsible for returning books by the stated due date, and for any charges from the lending institutions for copies, or resulting from overdue or lost material.

The loan period for a book is set by the lending library, but is usually three weeks. Renewals are at the discretion of the lending library.

You may use   to locate books, and to make a request.

When the requested item arrives, you will be notified by telephone and email. Please allow at least 14 days to receive the materials. For further assistance, please see the librarian.
