All branches of the OCPL will be closed on Saturday, May 25 through Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day.
With the new catalog, you may still use an alternate ID. You will need to log into your account with your full library card barcode and PIN, and then set up your EZ login credentials.
In order to offer you more DVDs for a longer time, starting Monday, May 6th, the OCPL will begin allowing borrowers to check out six (6) DVDs for seven (7) days. They may be renewed ONCE unless there is a request for them. Because we are offering more checkouts per card, borrowers may now only check out six DVDs per ONE card. You may not use more than one card to check out DVDs.
If you're a fan of our e-books at the OCPL, you've probably seen our OverDrive page. But if you haven't been lately (or haven't tried it yet), you need to check this out! Our OverDrive page is ALL NEW! It's cleaner, more colorful and easier to use. To learn more about some of the changes in this Next Generation OverDrive page, click HERE.
On Wednesday, May 22nd at 4 p.m., the Seneca Branch Library hosts an e-reader class, "Getting Library E-books on Kindle Devices." This will be for the Kindle "paperwhite" and other non-Fire versions. Please bring your laptop if available, your device, your library card, and your USB cable that came with your Kindle. For more information, call (864)882-4855.
If you can't attend, as always, the Walhalla Main Branch hosts "Tech Tuesdays" every Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. No appointment is necessary. Just bring your device and a question! Call (864) 638-4133 for more information.

Longtime OCPL volunteer Ann Rogers was presented with the annual SC Governor's Volunteer Direct Service Award in Columbia today for her genealogy work in the SC Room at the Walhalla Library. She was previously awarded the first annual Sarah Mills Norton award at our recent Volunteers Rock! dinner. Congratulations, Ms. Rogers, and thanks for all you do for us!

Let's Talk About It is a FREE book discussion group where participants choose a theme and then participate in discussions based on those books, usually led/moderated by a Clemson professor.
