Public Library cards are free of charge for the first card. Patron card applications are available at the circulation desk.
Adults must present a valid Government Issues I.D. or Drivers License, along with proof of current address such as a utility bill.
Applicants 17 and under must have a parent or guardian's signature.
Library cards are available at the time of application. Patrons may check out two items on their first visit. After that, patrons may check out up to 15 items at one time.
Exceptions: Only two DVDs may be checked out per visit. A total of five audio-visual items may be checked out at any one time. So, for example, a patron may check out two videos and three audio books--totaling five items--at a time, or five audio books at one time, plus a top limit of 15 books.
Books and audio books and DVD's may be checked out for two weeks. These may be renewed 2 times for an additional two weeks if another patron has not reserved them. Patrons may renew materials by telephone, in person or online.
Books: 30 cents a day per book
Audio-visual materials (DVD's + Audiobooks+ BK-CD): $1.25 per day per item
Interlibrary Loan: $5.00 a day per item Lost library card: $3.00
Lost/damaged materials: Cost of given item + $12.00
