Are you looking for a unique way to celebrate a birth, anniversary or other happy occasion? Or, perhaps honor the memory of someone special in your life?
Pike County Public Library’s Gift Books Program invites individuals or groups to donate the cost of one or more new books (or other library materials) in honor or in memory of a special person or persons. Specific titles or topics may be suggested with the donation.
Donations, which are tax deductible, may be made in any dollar amount. However, if a donation is less than the cost of an item, it will be added to a general Fund from which selections are made.
Special bookplates will be placed in each Gift Book naming the honoree(s) and donor(s). All gifts will be acknowledged with notes sent to the donors and to the person or family of the person honored.
To purchase a Gift Book, simply fill PCPL Gift Book Application below and mail it with your check to the address indicated or visit one of our branches. For more information call us at 570-296-8211.
