Beekeeping in Middle Tennessee – Tuesday, June 6 at 2:30 PM
Join us for an educational program about beekeeping in Middle Tennessee presented by special guest Michele Harbin. Participants will learn the importance of honey bees to our ecosystems, how to attract and protect them, the benefits of honey & bee pollen as supplements, and other fun facts about this important species. We will also sample local honey & bee pollen. Plus, drawing for door prizes! (Ages 16 & up are welcome to attend.)

Let's learn about pollinators & plants that attract them! We'll focus on native bees, butterflies, and a few other important pollinators. There will be examples of habitats for native bees & butterflies, and information on Monarch Waystation certification. Plus, door prizes are drawn at the end of the presentation! You have been invited to a Mardi Gras masquerade hosted by Marshall Inglewood, the Governor of Louisiana. The party will be held at the governor’s posh New Orleans mansion.
