Welcome to Oceanic Suites, the world’s first underwater hotel! Unfortunately, there is a corporate spy among us who has stolen our hotel’s hydrodrive and is flooding the entire hotel. Can you help us figure out who the spy is and escape your flooded hotel room before it’s too late? This program is limited to the first twenty participants.
Mini Art Take & Make

This kit includes a mini canvas, easel, paint brushes, and assorted paint colors. Email a picture of your creations to msanderson@sumnercountytn.gov by June 16 to have the picture displayed at the library or online.
Ocean Emergency Part I

Learn about real world threats to marine mammals and the ocean as well as the urgent need to address them. Collaborate with other teens to design a solution to alleviate one of the threats. Discover how science and engineering are important to ocean related careers. This program will be led by an expert from the Pacific Marine Mammal Center.

Welcome to our informal gathering of book nerds. We’ll be playing the game “Bring Your Own Book.” Bring a book that you have read so you can discuss it and play the game. Bookish themed swag bags will be given to the first 20 participants. Drinks and snacks will be provided. This program will meet outside weather permitting.
Ocean Emergency Part II & Recycled T-Shirt Bags

We will meet again with the Pacific Marine Mammal Center and discuss our solution to a threat to marine mammals and the ocean. In the second part of the program we will make recycled bags using t-shirts.You may bring your own t-shirt to cut up or use one of ours. Shirt supplies are limited to the first 20 participants.
