Rockbridge Words @ Glasgow Public Library

Anne McClung previews her latest work

Dried apples and other vanishing memories of Rockbridge County

Her work brings to life the richness of the Rockbridge area and its people with memories as seen through the eyes of some of Rockbridge County’s life-long residents.

As part of the continued celebrations of its 75th Anniversary, the Rockbridge Historical Society commemorates its legacy of public history and publications with a display in the entrance to Lexington's Rockbridge Regional Library. This display features all XIII Volumes of Proceedings that RHS has published as a record of its 75 years of programs, along with a historic map, and the Society's landmark illustrated books: Remarkable Rockbridge and Roads of Rockbridge. The display also includes a range of artifacts. For more information on the Society and its programs and publications, see www.RockHist.org.
