An Al Oerter Foundation
Cathy Oerter wife of the late Al Oerter, will tell  stories of Al Oerter’s accomplishments amid adversity, the Modern and Ancient Olympic Games and the importance of the Olympic values in shaping their lives. She will encourage the children to live life in full color and explore the sport/art relationship. The talk will inspire children to be the best they can be in all avenues of life to become upstanding citizens in body, mind and spirit as the Greeks imagined when the Ancient Olympic Games began.
