The Friends of the Library are a group of volunteers who believe in libraries, learning, and the promotion of reading. Members raise funds to purchase books and special items for the library. Friends also host the Summer Reading Program and help support the Teen and Children's Libraries.
The Book Shoppe located in the entrance of the library is operated by the Friends. All proceeds are used to support library programs and services.
If you would like to be a member of the Friends, please visit the Ruidoso Public Library and speak with the volunteer in the Friends Shoppe, or with any library staff member. You can also email library@ruidoso-nm.gov and mention that you would like to join.
