Around the Town Heroes Storytime: Sedro-Woolley Police Department
A special thank you to our very own Sedro-Woolley Police Department!! What a fun and informative time we all had at our first ever Around the Town Heroes Storytime. Guests loved listening to Detective Eaton read one of his favorite stories. All the kids were enthralled with Officer Wagenaar showing off some of her important police gear. Everyone especially loved visiting in all the different kinds of police vehicles with Detective Eaton, Officer Wagenaar, and Officer Carr. SWPL, and I'm sure our Storytime guests, look forward to hosting the Sedro-Woolley Police Department again in the future!
2016 Harvest Party Photos
Our Harvest Party this past Saturday carried on through the wind and rain. All who attended had a blast! The community garden beds were cleaned out and re-planted for next year’s bounty. The kids (and adults) had a great time helping with the garden beds (digging potatoes seemed to be their favorite), making corn husk dolls, and they even started an impromptu dance party, and of course the refreshments were delicious as always. Thank you to all who came and participated. Our community garden beds are a great way to help provide free food throughout the harvest season for everybody to benefit.
