Don Rickles on being a successful 'insult comic': Be sarcastic, fun, but never hurtful
As our "TODAY Living Legends" series continues, Al Roker visits the Malibu home of legendary comedian Don Rickles, and finds "Mr. Warmth" is still feisty at age 90. Together they look back at highlights of Rickles' career, including his appearances with Johnny Carson and at Ronald Reagan's inaugural. "I've never had a writer," Rickles says, and vows he won't retire "unless I'm hit by a truck."

Colin Hanks on 'Life in Pieces,' and his horrified reaction to David S. Pumpkins
Actor Colin Hanks is the son of Tom Hanks, but he's made his own name in shows including "Life in Pieces," now in its second season. He tells TODAY he was attracted to the sitcom by its unique structure: "Here's a show that actually has every generation represented," he says. He also comments on his dad's "SNL" turn as David S. Pumpkins, and says "as surreal as it is for all of you, it's five times more surreal for me," and that his young children will "never" see the bizarre skit.
