The Friends of the White House Inn Library will host an author book signing event on December 16th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the White House Inn Library. Author Melinda Eye-Cooper will be at the library to share information about her book, The Funky Chicken (A Christmas Novella).
Melinda’s book is a Young Adult Christian fiction story about a girl named Anna who longs for a Christmas tree. She has a faint memory of a family Christmas tree, but just one. It was about the time that her dad became convicted about Christmas trees and all the decorations that went along with the glorious holiday. How can Anna change his mind? How can she make this Christmas like the one she remembers from so long ago?
Melinda is the mother of three boys. She lives in White House, Tennessee with her family and a hound dog named Ella.
All community members are welcome to attend the free event. Copies of the book will be sold during the signing.
For more information about this event please contact Elizabeth Kozlowski at the White House Inn Library, (615) 672-0239.
