2020 Virtual Summer Reading Program

Imagine Your Story

The Wilson County Public Library's first Virtual Summer Reading Program will take place June 15 - August 10, 2020.
This year’s theme is Imagine Your Story, highlighting mythology, legends, and fairy tales!

Wilson County Public Library has planned a variety of virtual programs and reading incentives for youth, young adults, and adults, prepared by staff across all library locations!  For continued safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, all programs will be offered online via the library’s Facebook page and YouTube Channel.  The program will continue online even if library locations have reopened

Dana Hill Magic

Join us on Tuesday, July 28th at 2:00 PM for the award-winning magic of Dana Hill.  Dana has performed all over the US, Mexico and Canada blending his unique style of comedy and magic to create a memorable fun filled show for all ages.  His live online show will teach a trick and include an illusion you can participate in from home!  Dana will join us via Facebook Live.  Be sure to check our Facebook page for a special video leading up to the show and prepare to be amazed!

These programs are made possible thanks to these community partners.

Some programs are funded by a Library Services and Techology Act (LSTA) Grant awarded to the Wilson County Public Library for the creation of a CrAFT Studio - Creativity, Art, Fabrication, and Technology lab.  The CrAFT Studio will combine the Makerspace movement with STEAM subjects through robotics, coding, crafts, electronics, and more.
