Oak Hill Public Library is a school district library and we work with the schools to promote reading by visits during their special reading weeks, by providing tours of the library, by providing materials for homework and reports and by special summer programs that help prevent loss of reading skills during school vacations.

Oak Hill is a small friendly community with many churches, recreational areas such as Lake Jackson and Cooper Hollow Wildlife area, and is the location of the only Welsh Museum in America.
