Mission and Goals

The Corwith Public Library exists to provide quality materials and services for the
residents of Corwith and the surrounding area.  This includes both informational and
educational materials as well as cultural and recreational activities for persons of all
ages. The library strives to create a welcoming atmosphere for all its patrons.

Corwith is located in Hancock County in north central Iowa.  Corwith is a city located in Hancock County, Iowa. Corwith has a 2025 population of 256. Corwith is currently declining at a rate of -0.78% annually and its population has decreased by -3.76% since the most recent census, which recorded a population of 266 in 2020.

The average household income in Corwith is $56,955 with a poverty rate of 37.41%. The median age in Corwith is 44.8 years: 40.3 years for males, and 47.5 years for females.
