We are trying during this time of shutdown to still be able to offer some important services.    I know many people who the library serves do not have internet access at home, and this may cause issues with getting their information needs met.  We are here to help.  Please share this information with someone you know who may be at home and need access to information.

We are offering phone and text reference services

Summer Reading Reboot!

This year we are excited to present an online Summer Reading Program that gives you control over your summer reading experience. Utilizing an online virtual “bulletin” board,  you can post stories, links to books you are currently reading, and upload photos, videos, and more. You get to “Imagine Your Story” by choosing to follow an optional weekly theme, or simply share anything you find interesting. The options are endless!

We will have three separate bulletin boards based on age--children, teens (students going into 7th-12th grade), and adults. Your submission to the bulletin board is your ticket into the weekly random drawing for prizes. Winners from each age group will be contacted on a weekly basis to arrange for prize pick-up or mailing.

Check back on June 7th for the link to the program!

Currently Berrien County's response rate is at just under 60%.   It is very important that we get the word out to everyone so that we get an accurate count.    Just a 10% undercount can drastically affect funding for a variety of services in our county.

If you or someone you know hasn't been counted, there are 3 easy ways….
1.       Online at https://my2020census.gov/
2.       By Phone – English 844-330-2020; Spanish 844-468-2020
3.       By Mail – a paper survey will be sent to you with return paid postage
