CAN-Core

CAN-Core is a current collection of Canadian education films. Search by title, keyword, by curriculum area and course name. Filter by grade level.

Teachers and guidance counsellors will find many great titles on family life subject areas, and on issues like drug use, emotional wellness and more. Many titles on Indigenous peoples and cultures.

Teachers can create their own accounts so they can make playlists to send to students.

CBC Curio

Use Curio to explore CBC/Radio-Canada, BBC and National Geographic content that has been carefully selected for its educational value and relevance to K-12 subject areas. Includes CBC's current event series: News In Review. Signing in gives you access to all content and allows you to create video playlists.

How to connect to Curio:

You must enter your institutional (school) email address (novellusername@wsd1.org email address) on the login page: https://curio.ca/en/login

Curio will send a unique verification code to this email address. (It may take a few minutes for you to receive it, but it must be entered within 15 minutes of you having received it.) Then follow the prompts.

After the first login, access the site from the following link: https://curio.ca/en/home
