OTHER SERVICES
As a matter of community pride and involvement, we take part in several village activities. We are members of SERLS-the South East Regional Library System and the Oak Hill Chamber of Commerce. We have a booth at the annual Memorial Weekend Festival of Flags where we have giveaways and award prizes of books to two youth and one adult winner of a drawing held on each of the 3 days of the festival. The library staff also participates in the Festival of Flags parade and promotes the Summer Reading Program by dressing in outfits that spotlight the yearly themes.
A children's librarian is present during each day of the kindergarten registrations so any child starting school can get a library card on the day he or she is registering.
Golden Buckeye Card applications are available at the library.
