LIbrary Closed until further notice. Click here for more information.

The Putnam County Library System is closed to the public until further notice due to health and safety concerns surrounding COVID-19. Many of our staff have been temporarily reassigned to the EOC call center to assist with COVID-19 related tasks. However, you can still call the library with questions weekdays from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. You can also contact us by sending us a message on Follow us on Facebook for up-to-date information about services offered during our closure.

Please note: Due dates for all materials checked out will be extended. However, you can still return materials to the book return if you are able. All returned items will be disinfected and quarantined for 72 hours before they are checked in. We are not accepting donations at this time. Please only use the book returns for library materials. We are offering curbside pickup of library holds. You can place a hold online or over the phone. You will NOT be fined for overdue materials during this time. When we reopen, we will have another FINE FREE MONTH so you will be able to return materials at that time with no penalty.
