Bring the cheer of the holidays to a Putnam County child in need.

Each year the Putnam County Library System teams up with the Lee Conlee House to provide books for children in the shelter.  At each Putnam County Library Branch you'll find a tree filled with paper angels.  Each one has the age and interests for a child.  Take an angel and return it with new or gently-used, unwrapped, age-appropriate books and we'll do the rest.  Please note that we are only accepting books for this donation - no clothing or toys, please.  If you have clothing or toys to donate, the Putnam County Toys for Tots Drive is back with dropoff locations all over the county! 

There are dozens of kids that are in need of a good book;  this year you can help them learn or continue their love of reading with a simple act of kindness.  

Please return all books and angels by Thursday, December 18th to ensure we can get the books to the children on time for Christmas.  Thank you!
