Dedication
Today we reach the throne of fifty years.
This home, where culture holds a deed of trust,
Redeems the pledge of honored pioneers --
A challenge lest we let the doorlocks rust.
We dedicate this house to new command,
A monument of steel and stone and wood.
With living gratitude we lift a hand
In promise we will make our pledges good.
And we rededicate these books, with pride,
Remembering the sacrifices made
By those who through the years exemplified
Determined faith the Women's Club displayed.
This shrine of knowledge, willed to each donee,
Shall live to serve through prosperity.
