WE NEED YOUR HELP!
THE LIBRARY NEEDS YOUR HELP!
As the Library prepares to request funding for the next year, we would like to make sure our city and county officials know our community supports the library. Because our building is increasing by over triple the current size, the budget will have to increase accordingly.
The County Commissioners and City Aldermen need to hear from all our Library supporters!
Too often the naysayers are the loudest and most outspoken, and if that's all they hear, that's the impression that will stick. We need for them to hear your voices!
Follow this link to the County Commissioners info page which includes their names, addresses, phone #s, & email addresses. The City Aldermen info page can be found here. Please take a moment to contact them and express your concerns. The new library needs to function the way it was intended, w/heat & A/C, water, electricity, full staff, and without cutting hours of operation.
We truly appreciate your assistance. Thank you!!
