RESIDENTS: Residents of Kleberg County who are at least 5 years old are eligible to apply for an initial library card free of charge. Before a library card can be issued, the applicant must complete a registration card. A local 'reference' with a different address and telephone number must be provided. Applicants between the ages of 5 and 17 must have the signature of a parent or legal guardian on the registration card when applying.
FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION TO ESTABLISH PRIVILEGES:
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Social Security/Serial Number
- Valid United States Passport with Photo
- Other valid forms of identification as approved by the Library Director
LIBRARY CARDS EXPIRY DATE: Library cards expire after 1 year and must be renewed at the Circulation Desk.
CHANGE OF INFORMATION: Please notify the Library of any change in name, address or phone number.
LOST OR STOLEN CARDS : Please notify the Library if your card is lost or stolen. The replacement fee for a lost or stolen card is $3.00.
NON-RESIDENTS: Any non-residents who is at least 5 years old can purchase a library card for an annual fee of $8.00.
