MelCat (interlibrary loan)
MelCat is the state-wide interlibrary loan system for our library.
The Melcat system allows our resident and fee card users to request items that our library does not own and have them sent here for pick up. Search for books, audio, movies, music and more.
Please note:
- The item must not be available at our library
- Allow 7-10 days for delivery
- Books may be renewed within one week (7 days) of their due date. Videos and some other materials may not be eligible for renewal.
- Most loans are 21 days, with the exception of some Audio/visual materials with a shorter loan (7 days).
- To renew books, go to your MyMeLCat record.
- Not all materials included in MeLCat are requestable. Each participating library decides which of its materials it will loan via MeLCat.
If the material you want is not requestable, you may be able to use the material by visiting the library in person. Be sure to call ahead to be certain that the material you want will be available.
Please contact the library if you have any additional questions or problems.
