Mission Statement:

To build, grow and sustain quality enrichment programs for the community through the library.

Annual Membership Levels:
Individual Membership $10.00
Family Membership  $20.00
Business Membership  $50.00
We also offer a Lifetime Membership at $200.00.

We welcome any donation in addition to your membership.

Memberships can be dropped in the “Friends” lockbox in the library during regular library hours.

You can also mail us your check for membership or donations, made payable to

“Friends of the White House Library” to: P.O. Box 1445,  White House, TN 37188.

 

Friends members receive the following:
Extended checkout times on all library items except tech devices
A $5 coupon to the book sale room
Addition to the Friends of the Library Newsletter
And knowledge that you helped the library

The Friends of the Library group is always looking for volunteers to help with the book sale room, special events and fundraising.         If you would like to bring your special talents to our board, please email us at whitehousefol@gmail.com

Created a board game and puzzle collection for the library. Received a Summer Reading Dollar General Grant
. Legos for the Lego table.                                                                                                                                                                                                 

2015 events/accomplishments
Hosted one book sale
Received the Walmart Grant for Summer Reading
Sponsored the children’s summer reading program
Purchased books for the library
Sponsored a Fall reading program for the teens
Sponsored with money from a Christmas Breakfast for our book club members, and Christmas Open House
