All city of White House residents are eligible for a library card at no cost. To apply, simply present proof of your identity and current address at the Circulation Desk. Children under the age of 17 must be present when their parents sign for them.
Parents are responsible for anything their child checks out, fines, damages, and lost items and as such are expected to monitor their children's activities.
Those that live outside of the city limits may obtain a library card at a cost of $10 for adults and $5 for those under 17. If children live outside the city but still attend school in White House, they may obtain a card for free. Those that work for the city, own property in the city, or work for a school in the city may also obtain a card for free.
If an individual has a library card at a Sumner County, Robertson County, or another TLC agreement library, individuals may apply for a White House Library TLC card free of charge. By applying for this card, individuals will not have to pay the $10 non-resident fee. However, individuals will be limited to just books and computer check outs.
Individuals that live outside the state may obtain a temporary card at a cost of $15 dollars for three months or $25 for six months. A valid ID still must be presented to apply.
